Whiteford Cross County teams participated in the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival today.
The Bobcat girls ran in the Division III race placing 54th overall. Scoring points for the girls were Molly Bartlett who ran a time of 26:42, Kaissidy Homolka (26:47), Emma Lough (28:50), Josephine Cruz (34:26), and Addie Hodgkins (38:16). All girls ran season best times. There were 370 finishers in the girl’s race.
In the boys Division III-B race Whiteford placed 24th. The top runner for the Bobcats was Corbin Willis, placing 59th in 19:17. He was followed by McCarty Simmons 118th (20:20), Camden Willis 122nd (20:30), Logan Bunge-Lance 167th (21:49), and Nathan Walker 175th (22:07). Also running for the boys were Trenton Kolmar (23:40), and Christian Rogers (27:20).
Whitefords next race is Tuesday the Sept. 12 in the first TCC Jamboree of the season. It will be held at Rustic Glen Golf Course and hosted by Clinton. Girls run at 5:00, boys at 5:30, and an open run to follow.
