There’s a lot of basketball for Bobcat fans over the next three days.
Whiteford’s boys and girls basketball junior varsity teams will play today with the varsity games being scheduled for Friday.
Today, at 5:30, the Bobcat JV boys basketball team will host Whitmore Lake. Also at 5:30 p.m., the girls JV team will play on the road at Erie Mason.
On Friday, the Bobcat varsity girls basketball team (9-5 overall, 7-2 in the TCC), will travel to Whitmore Lake for a 5:30 p.m. start against the Trojans (1-11, 0-9). The Whiteford girls will also be on the road Saturday, playing at TCC-leading Morenci.
The Bobcats are trying to reach double digits in wins for the first time since the 2013-14 team won 12 games.
Baylee Baldwin, who broke the Whiteford career record for 3-pointers Tuesday, has moved into a tie for 15th place on Whiteford’s all-time scoring list with 658 career points. Here’s a look at the top 20:

The Bobcat boys varsity will play at Whitmore Lake at 7 p.m. Friday. Whiteford’s boys are 10-2 and 8-0 in the TCC while Whitmore Lake’s boys are 2-9 overall and 2-6 in the TCC. The Trojans have the league’s biggest upset this season, a 68-64 win over Summerfield.
