Today marks the 32nd annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day.
Since 1987, the Women’s Sports Foundation has traveled to our nation’s capital to advocate and celebrate women and girls in sports.
Whiteford started most of its organized girls athletic programs in the early 1970s. The Bobcats have had numerous great athletes come through the ranks, from All-State to collegiate All-Americans. In sum, the Bobcat girl teams have accumulated more than 100 championship trophies.
