Briskey named Bobcat Fan of the Year

Whiteford Township Constable Dan Briskey has been named the Whiteford Athletic Boosters 2018 Fan of the Year.

Briskey accepted the certificate at halftime of Whiteford’s home boys basketball win Wednesday against Summerfield.

A Whiteford graduate and lifelong Ottawa Lake resident, Briskey played on the Bobcats football team from 1963 to 1965, being part of the famed 23-game win streak. For the past several years, Briskey has helped with security detail at home Whiteford sporting events as township constable.
