Bobcats beat Hudson in non-league action

HUDSON — Whiteford hitters banged out 11 hits in a 10-5 win over Hudson Friday. The second game of the doubleheader ended in a 7-7 tie in the sixth inning when the game was called for darkness.

Natalia DiTerlizzi, Katie Lipp, Jessica Link and Baylee Baldwin collected two hits apiece for the Bobcats in the opener. Lipp had two RBI and scored twice. Link had a double and scored twice.

In the circle, Lindsey Walker allowed only two hits and struck out eight. None of the Hudson runs were earned.

Lipp and Baldwin each had three hits in the second game.

The Bobcats are 3-2-1.
