Whiteford maintained its lead in the Tri-County Conference with a split of Wednesday’s double header with Madison
The Bobcats beat Madison 3-0 in the opener, then lost to the Trojans 13-3 in the second game.
Lindsey Walker pitched both games for the Bobcats and had four hits and three RBI on the day. Katie Lipp had three singles, Milly Iott had two singles and a triple and Karsyn Berns-Moore had two singles and a triple and scored three times.
The Bobcats are 10-5-1 overall and 7-1 in the TCC. Clinton is 9-1 while Madison has lost two league games to date.
