OTTAWA LAKE — Madison jumped out to a 4-0 lead against Whiteford Wednesday, but the Bobcats came roaring back with 11 runs in the fifth inning and three in the sixth to beat the Trojans 14-4.
Ty Eitniear, Antonio DiTerlizzi, Nolan Adams and Alex Kohler each had two hits for the Bobcats. Kohler had three RBI, including a drawing a bases-loaded walk to give Whiteford its 14th run in the bottom of the sixth.
Andrew Toda started and went the distance, striking out six and allowing six hits and four earned runs. He is 6-0 on the season.
The start of the game was delayed after a brief rain shower. The second game of the scheduled double header was postponed before a pitch was thrown.
