Durden’s hit clinches double header sweep for Bobcats over Blissfield

OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford swept Blissfield Friday afternoon, 11-1 and 18-17, to improve to 18-11 overall.

Madison Durden had five singles in the two games, including the game-winner in game 2. She scored five runs and had five RBIs on the day.

Samantha Overmann had six hits and two RBI, Lindsey Walker three doubles and two singles for four RBI and Karsyn Berns-Moore had two singles a double and a triple on the day. Berns-Moore scored with winning run, one of five runs scored on the day, in the bottom of the seventh of the second game.

Milly Iott added four hits and four RBI while Walker was the winning pitcher in both games.
