Whiteford falls to Evergreen, 55-46

OTTAWA LAKE — The Whiteford girls basketball team will be back in action at home on Tuesday after falling to 1-2 on the season with a 55-46 loss to Evergreen (Ohio).

The Bobcats used an 18-point second quarter to climb back into Saturday’s game after falling behind 11-5 in the first quarter. However, Evergreen pulled away down the stretch.

Baylee Baldwin scored 17 points to lead Whiteford. Kinzie Kohler and Lindsey Walker each scored 9 for the Bobcats.
