Logan Murphy has been named to the Detroit Free Press First Team All-State football team.
Murphy rushed for 1,217 yards this season in leading the Bobcats to a 10-1 record and a third consecutive Tri-County Conference championship. He finished his career as the all-time leading rusher in Whiteford history.
The Free Press team is the oldest publication in Michigan with a continuous All-State football team, dating back to the 1920s.
Murphy and Sand Creek running back Alec Muck were the only Tri-County Conference players named to the first team.
