Bobcat boys and girls track teams top Dearborn AT in track meet in Dundee

DUNDEE — Zack Bertz won the long jump (17-0) and Logan Murphy took the 100 (11.22) to lead the Bobcats in a double-dual meet at Dundee.

DeShaun Williams placed second in the shot put (37-3) and Hunter Lake was second in the 300 hurdles (48.75).

As a team, the Bobcats boys lost to Dundee, 119-18, and topped Dearborn Advanced Technology, 71-43.

In the girls meet, Whiteford beat DAT 71-28, and lost to Dundee 122-15. Paige Thomas won the 100 (13.18) and placed second in the 200 (28.91). Macy Long was third in the shot put (24-9) while Ellie Duvall was third in the long jump (13-2) and Sarah Oberle third in the 3200 (17.13).

The Bobcats will join four other schools at the Bob Beckey Memorial Invitational Friday at Britton.
