TOLEDO, Ohio – Whiteford’s baseball team dropped a 2-1 decision to Erie Mason Saturday afternoon in a game played at Fifth Third Field, home of the Toledo Mud Hens.
The Bobcats got hits from Cole Geisige, Camden Willis and Erie Parriett while Ty Eitniear drew two walks. Jonathan Wright scored the lone Bobcat run.
Hurler Nathan Bauman went the distance on the hill, striking out eight while allowing just the two runs. He walked five and Mason had just three hits off the senior right-hander.
The Bobcats are 1-4 on the season. They also dropped a non-league game to Bedford Friday, 11-0.
