OTTAWA LAKE – Ty Eitniear and Nathan Bauman lifted the Whiteford Bobcats to a TCC doubleheader sweep of Britton Deerfield Wednesday.

The Bobcats took the opener 5-3 and came back to win the nightcap, 7-4.

Eitnear was the starter and winning pitcher in the 7-4 game, collecting two hits, including a double, scoring three runs and getting and RBI. He struck out five Patriots. Austin Wynn got the final outs. Nathan Bauman and Eric Parriett also had two hits while Cole Geisige had a double.

In the other game, Bauman went the distance on the mound, striking out seven and allowing just six hits and two earned runs. At the plate, Bauman went 3-for-3 with two runs scored and an RBI. Eitniear scored twice and had a hit while Wynn had two hits.

The Bobcats are 4-4 and 4-0 in the TCC.
