ONSTED – Whiteford scored two runs in each of the first three innings and held off Onsted in a non-league game, 6-4.
Nathan Bauman slugged a home run in the first inning to set the stage for the Bobcat offense, which finished with eight hits. Levi Hillard, Ty Eitniear, Bryce Wing and Bauman each collected two hits to lead the Whiteford offense.
Cole Geisige led the Bobcats to the victory on the mound. He lasted six innings, allowing five hits and three runs while striking out eight. Eric Parriett threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.
The 7-9 Bobcats play a TCC doubleheader Wednesday at Madison.
