OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford was swept by Clinton in a Tri-County Conference baseball doubleheader Wednesday, 10-4 and 11-4.
Nathan Bauman had two hits, including a double, to lead the Bobcats’ hitting attack in the opener. Eric Parriett and Austin Wynn added singles.
Bauman was the Bobcat starter, going four innings while striking out three and allowing one earned run. Ty Eitniear came in relief and took the loss, giving up four runs, two earned, in one inning of work.
In Game 2, four Whiteford pitchers allowed 10 hits and eight earned runs. Camden Willis had three hits while Bryce Wing, Bauman and Parriett each had two. Wing’s hit was a home run. He had three RBIs on the game.
The Bobcats are 9-13 overall.
