Bobcat offense in high gear in 62-18 victory over Pittsford

OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford scored 46 first half points and compiled 623 yards of total offense in beating Pittsford 62-18 to even its record at 2-2.

The Bobcats got 215 yards rushing and two touchdowns from Devon Shaw, Shea Ruddy passed for three touchdowns while throwing for 155 yards and Cole Giesige scored twice for the Bobcats. The Bobcats ran 58 plays, averaging 10.7 yards per play, including 9.6 yards per rushing attempt. They didn’t turn the ball over while recovering a fumble and intercepting Pittsford once. The only time the Bobcat offense was stopped was its final possession of the game. Whiteford had 32 first downs.

Freshman Jake Iott made 10 tackles, including two tackles for loss, and Noah Bauman and Drew Knaggs  were both in on six tackles for the Bobcats, who were playing its final home game of the regular season.
