Whiteford to play at 7 p.m. Friday against Summerfield in D8 District Final

OTTAWA LAKE – It’s official.

Whiteford will play Summerfield at 7 p.m. Friday in the Division 8 District championship battle. The game will be played at Whiteford.

Ticket details will be announced this week by the school.

This will be the fourth time the Bobcats and Bulldogs have met in the state playoffs. The Bobcats beat Summerfield 20-14 in 2015, avenging a regular season loss; swept the Bulldogs in 2016 with a win on the road in the regular season and at home in the playoffs, then beat Summerfield twice in its state championship 2017 season, 54-6 in the regular season and 36-20 in the playoffs.

Whiteford is 37-26 all-time against Summerfield.
