Whiteford’s baseball team will enter the 2021 season as the No. 3 ranked team in Division 4.

The Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association released its pre-season baseball poll Wednesday. The Bobcats are No. 3 behind Three Oaks River Valley and Marine City Cardinal Mooney.

Three Tri-County Conference teams are ranked, including Whiteford, Summerfield (No. 14 in Division 4) and Erie Mason (No. 19 in Division 3).

Blissfield is ranked No. 6 in Division 3. Clinton (No. 13) and Onsted (No. 18) are the Lenawee County Athletic Association teams in the poll.

Prep baseball was canceled in 2020 due to Covid-19. The Bobcats went 10-22 in the 2019 season but had won four consecutive TCC championships from 2015-2018.
