MADISON TOWNSHIP – Whiteford’s bats were booming Wednesday as the Bobcats took two from Madison, 16-3 and 10-2.
Eric Parriett was the winning pitcher in the first game, striking out five and allowing just four hits.
Shea Ruddy, Levi Hillard and Logan Tammerine had multiple-hit games. Ruddy went 3-for-3. His single in the fourth scored two runs and put the Bobcats ahead for good.
In the second game, Cole Giesige went 3-for-4 at the plate and picked up the win on the mound, striking out nine. Levi Hillard also had two hits.
The Bobcats are 5-5 on the season.
