Bobcats girls and boys pick up pair of wins in track and field

It was another successful night on the track for the Bobcats as Whiteford came home with two boys victories and two girls victories.

For the girls, Whiteford beat Jackson Prep 104-13 and Britton Deerfield 86-41 but lost to Sand Creek, 88-49.

Paige Thomas won the 100, 200 and 400 and helped the 4×400 relay team take first while Madelyn Thomas won the 800 and 1600. Aubrie Simmons and Annie Gapp joined Paige and Madelyn on the winning relay.

Gapp placed second in the 1600 and the 300 hurdles while Kenzie Gray was second in the shot put and discus and Alena Ellis second in the high jump. Simmons was third in the 200.

Whiteford’s boys beat Jackson Prep 83-27 and Britton Deerfield 82-45 and lost to the Aggies, 92-44.

Keegan Masters won the 3200. Jack Emmenecker was second in both the 100 and 200 and Jacob Iott was second in the 400 and Luke Murphy second in the 1600. Noah Bauman was second in the shot put.
