Bobcats honored by Toledo chapter of National Football Foundation

Noah Bauman, Ty Ruddy, Jason Mensing were honored by the National Football Foundation

The Toledo/Wistert Chapter of the National Football Foundation recently honored Whiteford football coach Jason Mensing and Bobcat scholar athletes Noah Bauman (pictured left), Jack Andrews and Cole Giesige.

The event was held at the Seagate Center.

Other athletes from southeast Michigan honored included: Drew Dafoe and Jacob Prati from Summerfield, Brendan Hammer from Bedford, Nico Johnson from Britton Deerfield and Payton Rogers from Hudson.

Mensing and Hudson coach Dan Rogers were also honored.

Whiteford’s Ty Ruddy (pictured,, middle) was named BCSN’s Unsung Hero and received the MHSAA Farm Bureau Scholar Athlete Scholarship.

Former Whiteford football and baseball coach Jack Luettke is one of the area organizers for the annual event.
