Rasor and Parker combine for 39 loss to Emmanuel Christian

SYLVANIA, Ohio – Jerry Easter II showed why he is one of the top 50 rated sophomores in the nation, pouring in 40 points for Emmanuel Christian in the win over Whiteford.

Easter scored 12 points in the fourth quarter, reached 40, and was pulled from the game.

Whiteford stayed close, especially early, trailing just 10-9 after the first quarter and 31-24 at halftime. Luke Rasor, who scored 23 to lead Whiteford, scored 15 points in the second half as the Bobcats tried to stay close.

A bucket by Rasor early in the third quarter made it 35-28, but East scored on back-to-back breakaways, then the Warriors got two triples by Nate Miles to go up 45-31.

Evan Parker scored 16 points for the 1-3 Bobcats, who will play Lenawee Christian in the consolation game at Lourdes University in Sylvania on Friday afternoon.
