Whiteford boys and girls both second at Legacy Relays

OTTAWA LAKE – Kenzie Gray won the individual shot-put with a throw of 31-10.25 and teamed with Haley Luse, Kayla Luse and Nina Bauman to take the 400-meter throwers relay Saturday as Whiteford girls took second to Hudson in the Bobcat Legacy Relays.

Annabelle Gapp, Aubrie Simmons, Bailey Vance, Alaina McClain, Sierra DeBarr, Briar Wing, Braelynn Chiotti and Bauman were part of second-place relays and Gray, Bauman and Reagan Wing had individual seconds.

Fourth-place Milan won four relays,  Angelina Wilson ran on all four, Madison Lancaster three, Emma Budd, Malea Wourman, Julia Lorch and Kaily McDaniel two and Amerie Wilson one.

Budd was second in the long jump.

Whiteford’s boys finished second behind Clinton.

Whiteford won the 400 (Brock Norman, Antonio Nachtrab, Ryin Ruddy, Jess Saylor), 1,200 (Brody Hillard, Drew Ruddy, Nate Andrews, Saylor) and SMR 800 (Brandon Knaggs, Nachtrab, Norman, Ryin Ruddy) relays.
