Whiteford’s 4×400 Relay team of Brielle White, Briar Wing, Sierra DeBarr and Braelynn Chiotti set the school record with a time of 4:17.6. The previous record was 4:17.9.

White won the 200, DeBarr the 400, Chiotti the 800 and Wing the 1600. Blair Wing took the 3200 and Nina Bauman won the discus.

For the boys, Jess Saylor won the 200 and 400 while Ryan Thomas took first in the high jump and both hurdles. Grant Rasor was a double winner in the 800 and 1600. All four relays went to the Bobcats.

“We had really solid efforts today across the board,” Whiteford coach Jay Yockey said. “I’m pleased seeing kids looking fast and solid in their events even though we have been working hard in practice and haven’t let up on our training just yet.”

The Bobcats compete in the Stockbridge Invitational Friday.
