Whiteford split a non-league doubleheader with Onsted Tuesday, winning 2-0 in the first game and losing 7-5 in the nightcap.

In the opener, five different pitched shutout the Wildcats, scattering four hits. Mason Luzier picked up the victory. The Bobcats pushed across two runs in the sixth inning. Sam Miller had an RBI single. Jake Scott had two hits.

Whiteford used seven pitchers in Game 2. Zayme Emch had a double and two RBIs.

The Bobcats are 23-7 heading into Saturday’s Division 3 district at Erie Mason.
