Three Whiteford softball players earned All-District honors from the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association team.

Outfielder Avy Wood, pitcher Peyton Welch and shortstop Bailey Spradling were named to the team and coach Matt VanBrandt was the All-District coach.

The Bobcats won the Division 3 district championship with victories over Erie Mason (10-1) and Monroe St. Mary Catholic Central (2-0).

SMCC put six girls on the first team and Mason two. Ida, which lost to SMCC in the first round of the district tournament, had three selections.
