The Whiteford Bobcats will travel to Sand Creek Friday for Week 9 of the football season.

They hope to return home the following week.

Whiteford (6-2) takes on the Aggies (5-3) at 7 p.m. Friday. Whiteford is assured of a playoff spot, but a win could get them a home game for the first round of the playoffs.

The Bobcats will be in the playoffs for a 14th consecutive season, tying Airport (1999-2012) for the longest streak of making the playoffs in Monroe County Region history.

The football playoff pairings will be announced at 5 p.m. Sunday by the Michigan High School Athletic Association.
