HUDSON – Grant Rasor finished first at the Tri-County Conference cross country championships Tuesday, clocking in with a new PR and becoming just the second Bobcat runner to win a boys TCC individual title.

Rasor finished in 17:32 and helped the Bobcats place third.

Brennan Chiotti was 5th, Xavier Abalos 12, Lucas Bub 14, and Cody Wood 21.

The Bobcat girls finished second behind league champion Erie Mason.

Braelynn Chiotti and Breslin Wing finished 2-3. Sierra DeBarr was 13th, Molly Fojtik 15th, and Rory Vida was 20th.

“We just came up short on the team standing side, but that’s how sports go,” Bobcat coach Jay Yockey said. “Even with that, though, we raced well and I am excited to see how both teams finish out the season next week at the regional championship and hopefully we get some runners out to compete at the state meet.”
