Bobcat hitters, Toda strike down Aggies

SAND CREEK – A four-run third inning was enough to boost the Whiteford Bobcats past the previously unbeaten Sand Creek Aggies, 6-1.

The Bobcats remain unbeaten in the TCC. Andrew Toda picked up his third win of the season on the mound, going the distance and allowing just two hits and striking out four. He was perfect into the sixth inning against the Aggies.

Nolan Adams had three hits, including a double, and three RBI for Whiteford. Antonio DiTerlizzi had a double and Thomas Eitniear had the other Whiteford hit. Eitniear also stole two bases, scored three times and walked twice.

Aggie pitchers hit five Bobcat batters.

The second game was called due to darkness with Whiteford leading 5-0 in the fifth.

The 4-1 Bobcats (3-0 in the TCC) are at Airport Saturday for a 10 a.m. non-league game.
