BRITTON – Whiteford lost a five-set match to Britton Deerfield Thursday to fall to 8-15-2 on the season.

The Patriots won 20-25, 25-14, 25-23, 13-25, 15-9. It’s the second straight five-set match loss for the Bobcats.

Anna VanBrandt had 24 digs for the Bobcats while Aly VanBrandt had 18 kids, five kills and three aces. Alaina Andrews added 26 assists.

The Bobcats are 6-5 in the TCC.
