Bobcats shutout Erie Mason twice in finishing unbeaten in TCC

ERIE – Whiteford closed its TCC season undefeated won the outright league title for the third straight season.

The Bobcats won the league championship in 2019, 2021 and now 2022. There was no league title in 2020 due to COVID-19.

Whiteford beat Erie Mason 9-0 in the opening game, scoring two in the first, three in the fifth and four in the sixth. Berlynn Keller, Unity Nelson, and Alyssa Ulery led the hitting attack.  Keller also earned the win in the circle, allowing three hits, two walks, and striking out nine.  

In game two, Nelson struck out 7 in three innings of work, winning 15-0. Kaydence Sheldon and Shay Alexander had two hits apiece.  

The Bobcats are now 31-4 with two games left in the regular season – Saturday against SMCC then Monroe at Monroe High School.
