OTTAWA LAKE – Whiteford senior softball player Patrina Marsh has signed to play next year at Davenport University.

The Bobcat outfielder appeared in 39 games last year for Whiteford, batting .400 with six doubles, five triples and three homeruns. She batted in 40 runners and scored 39 times herself. She struck out just eight times in 130 plate appearances and stole 11 bases.

Whiteford reached the Division 4 state finals a season ago.

Davenport is a NCAA Division II university that competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC).
